Selina has worked in a variety of traditional and non-traditional settings, using acupuncture for a wide range of health conditions. She currently treats patients in private practice, at Brooklyn Open Acupuncture, and in a clinical trial through the Institute for Family Health and Montefiore Medical Center.
Selina also had the privilege of treating patients in a study on chronic pain through the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI) project via Montefiore Medical Center. She has also worked with patients at the Initiative for Women with Disabilities at NYU Langone Medical Center, as well as in the Acupuncture department at The Integrative Cancer Center West Side Campus of Mount Sinai Beth Israel with Hongwei Zhang and Diane Serra .
In addition, she has worked in pediatrics, focusing on the use of shonishin for childhood complaints. Selina has also spent time in the Labor and Delivery unit of Lutheran Hospital in Brooklyn, NY.
Selina, who holds degrees from Pacific College of Health and Science – New York (PCHS), Vassar College and Northwestern University. A current faculty member at PCHS and former department chair, Selina lives with her family in New York City, and is committed to improving the health of those she encounters.
